Weird. Its not working here, and actually it turns covergloobus window invisible when I apply it.
When I change the skin to another one and restart, it returns to normal state again. I believe its just a bug coming from the application itself, but how to turn around it?

Using: Ubuntu 10.10 w/ Covergloobus 1.7
Thanks.

Uhm, try this . . .
kill Covergloobus task, then open a terminal and run Covergloobus . . . when started select GrooveUp skin . . . if there are any problems will be notified in the terminal.

Sorry for my bad english :)

Good idea. Doing so, Terminal were saying that picture files arent founded. Following that clue I go to check folders to see where are the files and I even hadnt permission to SEE the contents listed. I sudo Nautilus and after change the read/write permissions the skin is now working well.

Thats really a great skin man, but change the permissions on PROGRESSBAR and TOOLBAR folders to a lesser restricted access to files and re-share it.

Congrats!

I made a big mistake :stupidme: . . . the themes should not be put in /usr/... so delete GrooveUp folder from here . . .
Download again the .7z file then copy the folder in ~/.Covergloobus/themes/ and the font in ~/.fonts/

Tell me if now is all ok :)

That question was pretty tested here. Either on "/usr/covergloobus/themes" or "~/.Covergloobus/themes/" it will be listed and will work ok.

The same for fonts, so I guess you can relax about Ubuntu and other Debian derived "OSes". About other distros I havent any clue.

Yep, work fine in either folders, but i prefer put the skin in "~/..." because surely there aren't permissions problems . . . and if made a backup of my "~" also found skins installed. . .

=D:peace:

Above I mean "usr/share/covergloobus/themes".
